The centre is a calming, tranquil haven in the bustling North Laine and plays a huge part in Brighton's wellbeing history. BNHC customers regularly report to leave stress-free and the word ‘calming’ and ‘unique’ come up over and over again in feedback and reviews. The studios are sunlit, spacious and airy, and the teachers carefully chosen for their experience and ability; they truly are some of the best in the UK. It was set up by Infinity Foods in 1981 ‘with the aim of changing the world’; the belief that individual health and wellbeing are the basis of healthy communities and ultimately a healthy and sustainable planet. The aim to develop strong, relaxed and integrated bodies so that we can increase our enjoyment of life and function better in the world.

The centre's community work sets it apart from other yoga and wellbeing studios. There are low-cost classes accessible to everyone and an extensive back catalogue of outreach work including free classes for female refugees and asylum seekers. Healthy body - healthy mind - healthy planet
