If you’ve ever come to the mountain areas in the North Vietnam, you might behold some colorful and vivid clothes of the ethnic minority people there. However, you might not know yet that those local people, especially Hmong people, have made such clothing on their own. In the past, I had known such information through some articles only. Recently, I’ve luckily had a chance to live among the Hmong
community during my trip in Sapa, and I’ve got to witness the sequence of making fabric. Some Hmong people told that the current Hmong generation only dress modern clothes, and no longer know how to make the conventional ones. They added, the patience of the youth is lacking while ready-made clothes are more cheap and convenient nowadays, so within few decades, maybe no one knows how to make cloth. Hemp4U was formed with the only intention to introduce the products to those who love rustic charm and care about the environmental protection. Our organic hemp or cotton fabrics are hand-woven and hand-dyed by Hmong Minority . Every single piece of the fabric is generated by the skilled and precise hands of Hmong women after farming activities. All the sequences is entirely in the absence of chemicals at any kind, so the fabric is absolutely safe but very durable. All Products from Hemp4U also are made by the group of adept and devoted tailors and embroiderers. We’ve tried our best to make a minor contribution to the reservation of this traditional craft that, as some other traditional industries, has been gradually disappeared because of the convenience of the industrial age. if you want to buy cloth or embroidering as per your personal request, Please feel free to contact us in one of the following ways:
