🇺🇸❤️ Today we pause. ❤️🇺🇸

At Zebulon General Store we know Memorial Day is more than cookouts, long weekends, and the start of summer.

It is a day carried on the shoulders of sacrifice.

A day for the sons who never came home…
The daughters whose laughter was silenced too soon…
The husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, and friends who gave everything for people they would never even meet.

Some families set an extra plate at the table in memory.
Some visit cemeteries with tears in their eyes.
Some quietly carry a loss words could never heal.

Freedom has never been free.
It was paid for by brave souls who missed birthdays, hugs, holidays, and finally gave their last breath so others could live theirs in peace.

Today we remember them.
Today we honor them.
Today we thank the families who continue to carry that sacrifice every single day.

Thank you will never feel big enough, but it comes from the bottom of our hearts.
