Betty our pet cow seems to like her new house. This pretty girl is off my family farm and is a descendant of the first cows brought home. She has a lot of sentimental value and when her mom left her laying in the field abandoned at 3 weeks old we brought her to the ranch for full time care. She's now a robust 3 year old expecting her first calf in April!

Everyone seems to be settling in well. What a relief to not have to run between farms multiple times a day as we moved the alpacas first and the big animals were waiting on their barn to finish. Still have to move the cats who I think will actually be the most stressed. We got some snow today!

Sorry I haven't been posting much. The last 3 years have been focused on getting the kids to graduate high school. Now we have some news. We are moving locations!! We will only be 4 minutes away but moving an entire farm has been a huge and ongoing undertaking. Here is some progress so far.

For those who follow us I want to ad some clarification for what you will see on our different pages. There is a reason why we have more than one and it is too keep each endeavor seperate though they are all posted here on the main page.

CGR Performance Alpacas, as many of you know we dabble in rescuing alpacas and training them for 4H and FFA show. I had some upset people who thought we were breeding the rescues when they would see posts about my personal animals. Yes, we rescue, no I am not against the ethical breeding of QUALITY selected animals. So on this page you will see all the events, shows and updates on our rescues without my personal animals causing cconfusion.

Capezios Gift Ranch adventures, is where you will see updates on my books about animals on the ranch. Also we can do live alpaca appearances and book readings!

Littlefoot Ranch, this is a newer page where we can advertise our eggs and products from the birds without taking over the ranch page and loosing the alpacas being a spotlight.

Stevies Beans, a venture that I wanted to start and never followed through with...what?...😁 I wanted to sell alpaca manure tea bags for vegetable gardens but never had the time to truly dedicate to this project but I leaveit here because....someday?

Well CGR Performance Alpacas competed at the ORVLA Classic ILR Championship show yesterday. We didn't place a lot but I'm proud of what we did. The adult classes at 62 people in them. Deb Bergmann Took an 8th in Showmanhsip with kokopele Zephyr and I took a 6th in Novice Public Relations with Superstitions Grand Finale. Anthony and Kokopele Xeno took three 10ths and a 9th in Senior. Really tough competition with barely any errors on course. I'm glad I wasn't a judge!
