🌧️ WEATHER CLOSURE UPDATE

Due to the heavy rain, flooding, and lightning in the area, Just Junk It closed at noon today for the safety of our customers and crew.

We plan to open as normal tomorrow morning, but we’ll continue to keep a close eye on the weather and will provide updates if conditions require any changes.

Rain or shine, the work doesn’t stop at Just Junk It! 🌧️ Our crew is out there moving vehicles through the yard and getting them to the processing stations, even in some pretty heavy rain. Safety always comes first, and we take extra precautions when weather conditions change.

Please remember that our scales are closed whenever there is lightning in the area. If you’re planning to bring a vehicle or scrap to the yard, you can call us anytime at 740-455-CASH to check whether our scales are open.

Today’s weather has also caused some delays with our rollback schedule, so we appreciate everyone’s patience as our drivers work through the conditions with safety first and foremost.

Another day, another 30-40 vehicles reaching the end of their road. Nick is bringing in this well-used Ford on his loader, where its next chapter begins. Before it's taken apart, we carefully drain the gasoline, oil, coolant, and other fluids into the appropriate storage tanks for proper handling, helping protect the environment every step of the way. From there, quality parts are given a second life, and the remaining metal is recycled into new products.

It's a never-ending cycle at Just Junk It in Zanesville - junk cars rolling in, reusable parts heading back out onto the road, and metals leaving to be recycled into something new. That's what responsible auto recycling is all about.
