Another good day at the range today.

We had a group visiting from Japan come out and shoot with us, and for most of them it was their first time shooting long range. By the end of the day they were stretching it all the way to 1000 yards, and one of them even hit the half-minute plate.

After that, we had two shooters in from Arizona getting behind the rifles and giving it a try too.

One of the coolest parts about doing this over the years has been meeting people from all over the world and watching new shooters challenge themselves at distances they never thought possible.

Appreciate everybody who comes out and spends time at the range with us. 🇯🇵🇺🇸

🎯 EPISODE 20 IS LIVE 🎯
The 1000 Yard Rifle Clay Pigeon Challenge is back for Episode 20. Same challenge, same long-range pressure, and another solid group of shooters trying to connect on clays all the way out to 1000 yards.
Wind calls, missed opportunities, and a few solid hits made this one a good time from start to finish. If you’ve been following the series, you already know these shots don’t get any easier once the distance starts stretching out.
Honestly, this might be the hardest shooting challenge on YouTube… let me know if I’m wrong. 😅

This past weekend, we had the honor of spending time on the range with our buddy Alex. Alex is battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and watching him shoot was nothing short of inspiring.
He got behind one of our custom rifles the RSO 20 chambered in 22 Creedmoor and flat out impressed everyone there. His determination, focus, and skill were incredible to witness. He also got behind our 6.5 PRC and absolutely walked it out he was impacting every target we put him on. He even hit the knot just under the golf ball.
Moments like this remind us what this community is really about. Strength, grit, and showing up no matter what life throws at you.
Alex is fixing to begin treatment, and we ask that you keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this next chapter. We’re proud to know him, proud to have shared the range with him, and we’ll be cheering him on every step of the way.
Keep fighting, Alex. We’re with you, brother.

This clip from Savage Outdoors says it all.

First red stag takes a hit… and the rest of the herd never even spooks. They stood there until the stag that was hit started moving.

Our corporate team-building event at Roaming Shot was an incredible experience! The group had a blast shooting golf balls at 1,000 yards, relay race from 200yds-1000yds, creating an exciting competition while working together and communicating as a team. The long-range challenge brought out plenty of energy, teamwork, and friendly competition, making it the perfect team-building activity. Everyone had such a great time that they’re already planning to rebook for next year, and they even have another group coming out next week!

1000 Yard Challenge at Roaming Shot Outdoors

This week has been unreal on the range. We’ve had several golf balls knocked down at 1000 yards and one shooter came closer by clipping the STRING on his very first shot out of our Roaming Shot rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC. 🎯
