Suzy Pilaczynski has been helping operate Old-Stf Cycle Shop for more than 15 years, making custom and replacement parts like oil lines, air cleaners, gaskets, seals, voltage regulators and belt drives that keep early-model Harley-Davidsons alive and kicking. In 2019, she shook things up, taking her own bike build (her very first) to the Born Free motorcycle show, winning the Born Free award. She also displayed that "Hexaglide" build at The One Motorcycle Show this year, where it was one of the most talked about bikes of the show. Currently, she's working on a new custom build for Born Free 12, and we can't wait to see it!

What a trip, throwback Thursday 7yrs later and my close friend and shop partner @flyingpez is the new owner of the tuxedo dressed #panswinger . I want to thank Chris for taking such great care of it and the opportunity to haul his car for an affordable discount. 2500mile trip and we nearly lost the transmission in my truck. We hit a auto parts store and bought “a shop in a box” then spent 8hrs in the dirt repairing it. Finished our trip without first gear and a lot of strategic driving. #oldstf

So I convinced Suzy @beneaththeglass to speak on camera and explain her transmission and pipe mount. A lot of work for one small part. The main transmission plate was also modified and her transmission now sits an inch higher. Those who’ve been down this road know that an inch is rather tall and hard to pull off, theres only a small amount of adjustment to get the primary belt tight and the ratchet top also needed some clearance work. #peopleschamp7 #biltwellpeopleschamp #hexaglide #oldstf
