Our station will have:
• Bike safety checks + minor repairs from Tree Fort Bikes 🔧
• Snacks, swag, and coffee ☕️
• A demo from Motion Sync, showcasing tech designed to reduce motion sickness on the go👩‍💻

We’re saddened to hear that one of our local heroes, Melvin Parson of We the People Opportunity Farm, has passed away.

Melvin was a true advocate for fresh local food, bicycles, and second chances. More importantly, he was a man of action. He turned his love of the land and the people around him into something tangible, growing fresh produce while creating opportunities for people from all walks of life to learn skills, gain confidence, and move forward.

Over the years, Melvin partnered with us in a simple but meaningful way. He would recycle our bike boxes and turn them into planting beds, using them to naturally improve soil quality and help grow the food that fed the community. It was such a perfect example of how he saw possibilities in everything and always found ways to make things better.

His impact on the community will be felt for years to come. We’re grateful to have known him and to have played even a small part in the work he cared so deeply about.

Rest easy, Melvin. Your work and your spirit will continue to grow in this community.
