Words cannot express the gratitude we have for everyone who showed up for the Copley Jamboree, a Celebration of Lee. Thank you to every single person who participated, donated,
and spread the word for the event. We are happy to share that we were able to raise an incredible $1500 dollars at this event! Congrats to Anderson Grandstaff and Daniel Kelly as our two champions of the night as the 3-0 winners of each of their respected pods.

The Magic community never disappoints when it comes to showing love and coming together to do incredible things. Lee ran many events and made many memories over the years, and the love and support that we saw really cemented the impact we know he had. He would have absolutely loved the event. We saw so much fun being had during matches played, rip n flips, and the extremely competitive silent auction table.

So, here is to an incredible person who had such a positive impact within Stadium's walls. We have plans to continue to honor his memory with a yearly charity tournament in his honor. I don't really know how to end this, so I'll say what we'd often say to each other in the parking lot after closing up the store following a night of hanging out during Modern...

We just posted the information for Lee's memorial event on our Discord and in eventlink. All proceeds will go toward helping Jess navigate life without Lee. If you want to make sure you get a spot get in contact with us at the store. There are limited spots as we have limited seating in the store. We have to cap at 24 people. Stadium Cards & Comics is devastated to share that our friend and Stadium employee, Lee Copley, passed away last Thursday. We are heartbroken to share this news. Lee has been monumental in our draft/MTG culture at the store and was loved by many.

There are no plans for a wake or funeral. Instead, there are developing plans for a celebration of life. We will pass on those details when we have them.

Stadium will also be planning a memorial tournament in Lee’s honor, with us donating the proceeds to this very same cause. The tournament format will be draft, as this is what Lee was most beloved for hosting all these years. More details to come, so stay tuned.
