Team Destiny USA had a great time at the Dash For Cash Race at Austintown Hobby this past weekend! With a few team drivers in attendance the team was able to secure a number of spots in many of the A-mains, with wins coming from Chase Schell in USGT, Dana In stock 1/12 scale as well as Steve Radecky taking home a 3d spot in 13.5 1/12! Great job by everyone and thanks again to Scott and Teru for all the support and help!!

Also thanks to Kevin Nestor, John and Hobby Bobby for all the work getting the place safe and ready to race!! Great job!!

At Austintown Hobby for the dash for cash race!! Destiny USA would like to thank Scott Jakes for setting up this young racer with a tc kit to get started on his new endeavor into Touring Car! Louie has been racing at Austintown for over a year in the 1/12 scale classes and now has a destiny 2.0 for TC!! Thanks again to Scott and the team for helping out this young dude!!

Team Destiny had a great weekend at the Halloween Classic at NORCAR! Thanks to Norcar for hosting a great event! Steve Radecky managed TQ a round and finish by putting his Destiny 1/12 car 4th in the 13.5 main, while Mike Wise qualified 10th in stock TC and 11th in a very close Superstock TC field just missing the top 10 by .035! This was My first race on the solid alum chassis that I thought would greatly improve the car on the black carpet we mostly run here in the USA. Below is the setup I finished with, and think is a good starting setup moving froward for Stock and Super stock TC! you will also be able to find the setup sheet on Petit rc in the near future! Great job Steve! and we look forward to the next chance we get to race! Thanks again to Scott Jakes and Teru for all their support!😁

Tuning tip Thursday!
Car felling like it’s to “stuck” in the carpet? A great way to stiffen up a chassis is to add a post between the motor mount and the top deck! This helps to take some of the flex out of the chassis, freeing the car up a bit in higher grip situations!

Let’s talk top decks!! Pictured below are the two top decks for the RX-10SR 2.0 TC. In the first picture we have the 010259- “Flex” top deck, and the 010266- “Adjust” top deck, (with decals on it) yes the adjust top deck looks more flexible because of the cutouts , but under closer inspection in picture 2 we can see the flex deck on top of the adjust deck and see how much thinner the flex deck is. It’s easy to get these confused as they look so similar and the adjust deck has cutouts that make most racers think that one is more flexible. Width is the important feature to know your deck! 😉
