My Favorite Thrift Boutique has closed its Wells main location on September 14, 2025. We want to thank you for visiting shopping and returning to our shop.

We’ve had a blast and such great feedback that we’ve decided we will be reopening seasonally at a new location in the spring of 2026.

My Favorite Thrift Find always focuses on art. My Mom, Annette Regan, was a local artist (the seascape is one of hers) and raised us with a love of art. (The family photo features her during a visit to the Wyeth museum) Her favorite quote was that there was a universe of beauty rightt at our feet. Because of her, we have always collected art and My Favorite Thrift Boutique features all kinds of art at all prices.

My Favorite Thrift Find last week and this week as well, features my love of pottery, particularly USA pottery. USA pottery refers to many pottery makers including McCoy, Hull, Roseville and many more. There is also a specific brand called USA, which we shared last week.

Beyond the ones just mentioned there are MCM Sylvan, Imperial, Haeger, Hyalyn, Calif, Shawnee and more. The photos we’re featuring this week are some of these great pottery manufacturers

My Favorite Thrift Find this week is actually something I had at home from my Grandmother. It is a small tin box decorated with Toleware designs that she kep for her own and others ‘Calling Cards’. No respectable woman would dream of visiting someone without presenting their card. However, my Grandmother being somewhat of a rebel, became an RN against her parents wishes in the early 1900’s. What do you think?

My Favorite Thrift Find this week is a hand painted tea service with a pot and set of two cups and saucers. These beautiful pieces come from the 1950’s and were hand painted in Germany. What do you think?
