The quality of cut vinyl was less than we wanted, and the exponential price increases of adding colors to silk screen transfers made that unaffordable unless I was ordering hundreds at a time.
So I took a loan on my 401(k) and paid $27,000 for a Direct to Garment (DTG) print system. It was our first lesson on my road to success on the decorated apparel industry.
