Happy Labor Day to all the hard-working men, women, boys, and girls out there! Every couple of years here at Ray's Welding & Machine, we like to come up with a new line of corrals or items for our little ranchers to keep improving their cattle facilities. Well, my wife and I had a idea this year...what if we ask all of our customers and followers what they would like us to build for them?

So, here's how it will work!
1. We would like you to comment on this post what you or your kids would like us to build new for this next year.
2. We will then take the top three requests and ask your kids to draw us a detailed drawing of how it should look and DM it to us.
3. We will put a poll on our page of those top three for all of you to vote so we can find the winner!

Yes! I said winner!! The winner will get a special prize for their hard work and ingenuity!

Please include your kids in this and get as much input from them as possible! We love seeing and hearing all of their great and wild ideas!

From Cow calves, to dinosaurs, our corrals work for them all!!

We love seeing feed back from our customers like this, what a amazing way to teach the next generation about the farming and ranching way of life!

The time spent with grandparents and parents playing ranch is priceless!

Had a couple fun projects over the last few days. 1st was a door on a fertilizer trailer, the fertilizer rusted the rack gear away and wouldn't allow it to open.

The 2nd was a hydraulic cylinder for a grapple fork. After a few hours of machining and welding we are good to go again!

Joshua J. Kogel, age 48, of Cavour, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron, South Dakota. His Funeral Service will be held at 1000 A.M., on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the Nordby Exhibit Hall in Huron, South Dakota. Burial will follow at

Well it's that time of year again - time to start working and feeding your livestock! And what a better way to start the season out than with a corral from Ray's Welding and Machine! Did you know we do extensive testing and research and development on our corrals to make sure they are the safest and most fun for all those expensive animals that you have raised?! Don't go another year with those makeshift and broken corrals - you will not regret it!

We test each corral before it leaves our shop to make sure it is of the highest quality before it gos to our customers
