Had October 3rd become available due to cancellation. The chinook fishing has been nothing short of amazing and we are catching a lot more coho the past few days. I’ve also got a handful of days available throughout October for some bright, brute, B run coho.

Hey everyone! I’ve been getting plenty of inquiries about this years spring chinook fisheries and I’ve decide to sit this spring chinook season out. Running the numbers for the past few years we will maybe get 4-6 decent days before the closure on May 5. We are looking at a very low return to our gorge fisheries, complete closure of the popular Wind River fishery and a severely shortened season at Drano Lake. The Little White Salmon hatchery at Drano keeps surplus fish each year to support other hatchery efforts and if they come up short overall it could be bad news for our future runs. It can’t always be about taking all we can from a resource. Just gonna give a little back and if you support me, great. If not, I don’t care and there are other people/guides that’ll be down there. I’ve got nothing to prove and I’m not out to get atta boys or any of that. I hope I’m way wrong and the run is tremendously better than predicted/forecasted. All this said I’m not judging anyone that is going to fish, they’re hatchery fish and there for us to catch. And if you need a guide I can help you out with a few numbers if needed. This fall is looking to be incredible with solid chinook numbers and crazy coho numbers! I hope to see some of you then. Thanks and see everyone soon!

First off I’d like to apologize publicly for not being on this page the last little while. I took a little break to clear my mind and make sure I had it in me to be the best guide I can be and I’m glad I did. I’ve never lost my love of watching people catch fish and I hope to god I get the chance to take all of my past friends and clients again.
