Now this is what Gators Bait Barn is all about!

This gentleman stopped by today and told us he’s been buying minnows right here since 1976, back when it was Leroy’s and he’s still fishing out of the same boat!

Every year, he freshens up the teakwood along the sides, keeps everything maintained, and says she still runs like a top.

Fifty years of minnows, fishing trips, and memories all starting right here at the same little bait shop in Wylie.

These are the stories we love to hear, and a big part of why we do what we do. If you’ve been coming here since the Leroy’s days, drop a memory or an old picture in the comments. We’d love to hear your story!
