Worcester Pottery Invitational The Worcester Pottery Invitational's mission is to annually celebrate handmade pottery and bring great pots and their makers to central Mass.

The Worcester Pottery Invitational at the Worcester Center for Crafts in central Massachusetts takes place annually in April and features ~20 studio potters Each year. It began in 2003, and was created by Karen Karnes and modeled after the Old Church Cultural Center Pottery Invitational in Demarest, NJ. Past curators include, Karen Karnes, Mark Shapiro, Hayne Bayless, Hannah Niswonger, Julie Crosb

y, Kristen Kieffer, Todd Wahlstrom, Aysha Peltz, Sarah Heimann, Holly Walker, Jerilyn Virden. The Invitational’s primary mission is to celebrate handmade pottery, to bring great pots and their makers to central Massachusetts, and to provide an opportunity for those potters to share their work with the diverse population of greater New England.
