Community gathering spot. Bedlam Book Cafe is the brainchild of Nicole DiCello and Patrick Warner. We're passionate about books, community, culture, and curiosities. We provide a curated cache of used books from the academic to the esoteric. We also have artisan gifts, magnets, greeting cards, and unique curiosities, as well as locally-sourced organic juices, smoothies, coffees, teas, and snacks.

We’re swimming in excellent poetry! Between the huge stash I have at home from a private Booksale in March, and the poetry I’ve been scoring at library booksales, the gettin’ is great right now!

The publishing industry may not be printing these anymore, but you better believe as a used bookstore we’re stocking these every chance we get…. Even Mass Market Paperbacks in French, which we scored a huge bounty of!

We have some very exciting news to share…. We’ve been awarded a $20,000 grant as one of 500 small businesses selected across the country for the Amex Shop Small Grants Program! We are incredibly proud and humbled to have been selected for this. Many thanks and gratitude to and for selecting us. What this means for you is that we have a hefty chunk of cash to put forward into our infrastructure. First up, a bigger espresso machine with double the capacity we have now! We also have our eye on several other improvements we’d like to make, all aimed at making our customers experience even better. We have 6 months to accomplish all these changes. So stay tuned as we go on an improvements-spree! 🙏😻
