On this day, 29 years ago this morning, I got a call from the hospital on the rainy day my mother finally found peace from many years of anguish and heartbreak while taking her last breaths in my arms. Life overcame her. She lost too many years of searching for answers...meanwhile, WE, MY CHILDREN, NIECE, NEPHEW & GRANDAUGHTER, WERE HER ANSWERS. She LIVED her hopes and dreams and purpose for her children. Little did she know her grandchildren would survive her learning from her even in her passing...she would have spoiled them all so much with love!

Live today with purpose. Be mindful of every taste, scent and feeling you have...for the memories of your loved ones that have passed on. All of their strengths and weaknesses are gifts in their own way.

She was 51 years old, only 2 years older than me.
