Does anyone remember the gentleman that use to come in to Ben Franklin years ago that use to wear his wife’s clothes after she passed away? I don’t recall ever knowing his name. Short, older man, use to come in quite often and sit near the salad bar.

Mrs. Garman's potato salad! Love it! I was so disappointed the first time I had to run down to Safeway to get 'salad dressing' for the potato salad..it wasn't Hellman's! LOL

One of my favorite memories is bringing my son, about age 2 or 3, to the store in the evenings once in awhile while I waitressed. Most days he just sat under the little table beneath the menu sign and color but other days he greeted the customers as they came in with 'Hi, Welcome to Ben Franklin! Would you like some fries?' LOL
