💔 An Emotional Update from Our Family 💔

Instead of preparing to open for another season, we have officially finished moving out, and our previous location is now permanently closed.

We heard the reason the building would be removed from the property is for other personal use, (to be potentially used as a playhouse for grandchildren on their property 🙄) This ultimately left us without the ability to continue operating there. This decision came with very little notice in the middle of winter leaving us no real opportunity to prepare, relocate, or secure another space in time.

While we understand property owners have the right to make their own decisions, the way this was handled has been incredibly difficult for us as a small, family-run business. Small businesses rely on time, planning, and stability. Unfortunately, we were not given that.

That space meant so much to us. We poured our hearts into that building and into creating something special for our community. Having to leave has been heartbreaking for our family in ways that are hard to fully put into words.
We truly believed we would be there for many years and had so many plans to continue growing and building something even more meaningful for everyone who visited us.
Right now, we are doing everything we can to keep this dream alive. We do have a few potential location leads, but in order to move forward, we are in need of a mobile unit or trailer that we can convert into our new space.

We are still pushing and hoping to open for the 2026 season. We are not giving up.

💔 Important Update – Thank You for Your Patience 💔

First, we want to apologize for the delay in sharing an update. Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been dealing with unexpected issues I am currently expecting a little girl and having complications & was hospitalized, which understandably slowed communication.
Thank you for your patience, kindness, and understanding during this time.

After receiving further clarification from our landlord, we learned that we would be permitted to remain at our current location for the 2026 season only without reasonable ability to install any temporary fencing. With the permanent fence already removed, this leaves the property in an unsafe condition for our customers—especially children.

Because safety has always been our top priority, we have made the incredibly difficult decision not to continue operating at this location. Without fencing, we cannot responsibly protect the families who visit us nor do we want to invest any further into this property. This was not a decision we wanted to make, but it is one we must make to do whats best.

I also want to be transparent about where we are financially. As most of you know this past season was extremely challenging due to repeated weather-related closures, and flooding in our yard, which significantly reduced our operating days and income. As a 100% family-owned and operated business, I personally fund every part of this operation. Under normal circumstances, I work additional jobs to keep the business running. Due to my current situation, I am unable to work those jobs right now.

Because of this, securing a new location will be much more difficult than it would have been in a typical year. Even so, we are not giving up. We are doing everything we can and will continue trying to find a path forward.

💔 An Unexpected & Heartbreaking Update 💔
This is not a post we ever thought we would have to write.

Just two days before Christmas, we were notified that the fence around our business location was being taken down and our building might either be moved or torn down at some point. Which would mean we cannot continue operating at this location.

While the landlord has the right to make decisions regarding their property, we are deeply hurt and upset by how this has been handled, especially given the extremely short notice and the timing during the holidays. Had we known this was coming, we would have already been actively working to secure a new location.

This season was already one of the hardest we’ve faced due to repeated weather-related closures, which significantly reduced our operating days and income. Because of that, the financial impact of potentially being forced to move all of our equipment and secure a new location — in the middle of winter — is especially overwhelming.

Our personal and business property—including one shed, equipment, and furniture, —was relocated by their crew without our consent and placed in a muddy area of the property that now makes it vulnerable to weather destruction and theft. We are doing everything we can to protect what we’ve worked so hard to build, but this has been incredibly upsetting and difficult due to the weather.

What has made this even harder is the lack of communication. We have sent multiple emails asking for clarity about whether we can continue our lease or operate for at least the 2026 season, and so far, we have not received any response.

This business is our family’s livelihood and something we have poured our hearts into for years—not just as a business, but as a place for families, kids, and the community to gather. To have this happen with such little notice has been devastating.

It’s been a challenging summer, but we’re hoping to make one last Bang to help us return next year! 🍧

Come out today from 12 PM – 8 PM for one final day of sweet treats, family fun, and good vibes in the yard.

🎟️ We’ll also be holding a 50/50 raffle — the winner takes home half the pot, and every ticket helps support our small business and our chance to come back next season. 🙏

❄️💙 Important Update from The Ice Shack 💙❄️

We’re sad to share that our End of Season Bash won’t be happening as planned. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we aren’t able to do the snowball fights at this time.

Instead, this Saturday will simply be our last day open for the season. 🍧✨

We will still be holding our 50/50 raffle as our final effort to help us get through the off-season and hopefully return next year stronger than ever. 🎟️ The winner will be drawn on Sunday and contacted by phone.

As of 6:45pm we will be closing at 7:15pm due to lack of business! I'm really not sure what we're doing wrong we opened at noon and had two people around 2:30. Please understand we don't make this decision lightly, but what most don't realize it cost business more to stay open. Hoping our last week will be better. We will reopen Wednesday at 3p.
