Before stepping into the floristry realm, I wanted to pursue a career in Advertising (which I majored in college). I loved conceptualizing ideas in creative ways to catch people’s attention and redirect them to the brands need.

Truth is, we met 3 years ago while I was doing a Flower Storefront in London 🇬🇧 for newest store in Notting Hill. We hit it off instantly and she wished I was based in America 🇺🇸 so I could Floratoriumize their store in Fairfield, Connecticut!!! I was like…”Girl we’re in New Yorkkkkk!!! 🗽🍎Rest is History…Always a pleasure to decorate your store.

We wanted to bring the bold jewel tones of summer while bringing some Mediterranean vibes (Fairfield is a beach 🏖 town after all!)

We built our signature Willow & Wisteria structure and dressed it with lush Bougainvillea in Pink & Magenta🌸💗💜, Cosmos & Ficus leaves 🍃.

Meet “Purple Haze”💜💨!!! Our first Cannabike 🌱🚲.

On March 31, New York became the 15th state to legalize recreational ma*****na after a yearslong campaign to decriminalize it.

We had the privilege to create this fun buds on wheels “Cannabike” for inspired by the notorious bud that came into recognition when Jimi Hendrix 🎸 wrote a song about it and its effects after he had it in the Himalayan region of Nepal😎 .

We used lots of grass 🌾🌱 (for obvious reasons) ,Ma*****na leaves, Blue Thistle, Trick Dianthus, Purple 💜 Cymbidium Orchids, Papyrus, Driftwood, Orange Ranunculus and lots of Peace ☮️ & ❤️.

In anticipation, I wanted to share the floral 🌸storefront we designed in celebration of the Chef’s iconic creation…the “Cronut” 🍩+🥐 eight years ago.
🥐
Floral color combinations merged seamlessly to honor some of our favorites flavors in “Cronut” history. Flavors like Green Matcha & Golden Pineapple 🍍, Strawberry 🍓 Rhubarb & Thyme and Passionfruit Lavender.

We wanted the floral vignettes to look delicious 😋, like everything this Innovative Legendary Chef 👨‍🍳 delivers to us all.

Unconditional love ❤️ is the most effective remedy for mending a tattered soul. As New Yorkers, we know this. We survive the tough times by showing love 💛 and resiliency.

And here in NYC , there are no greater champions of this resilience than the LGBTQ community, who threw the first bricks at stonewall and showed the world that love was worth fighting for, and who show us all that we can not only heal, but we can flourish through love 🧡.

I’m so proud to create this new installation with my friend master florist as a tribute to the Pride 💚 movement. At the iconic Button and Needle - a symbol of the neighborhood where so many of New York’s LGBTQ community have come to express their activism through art, fashion and design - We made six hearts 💙 entirely of flowers, each representing a color of the rainbow flag.

When you visit, think of the LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈pioneers who started this movement and have inspired global change and progress. Designers 👨‍🎨and creatives who treated the fashion district as their Ellis Island, a portal to a new world 🌎 with limitless potential for self-expression they could create from their own fabric.

This installation is for them, and for you. From us, with love. 💜

Thank You VOGUE!!! for writing about our piece “Illuminating Hope” 🔘🟡 created for the last weekend inspired by the colors of the year.

Before becoming a Florist 🌸 I was a fashion stylist 💃🪡 and was my Bible. It was a beacon of hope and inspiration that taught me to break all the rules of beauty and think outside the box 📦.

Transitioning from Rags 👗 to Blooms 🌸 was easier than I thought 💭. I was still breaking rules of beauty and pushing for innovative ways to bring beauty, just with a different canvas.

Thanks for putting together this fantastic and much needed flower festival.
