Afternoon update on super typhoon sinlaku. Doesn't get much worse then this folks. T7.7- 896mb and 155kts (180mph) sights set on the tinain and sapian islands. Guam and rota will have indirect impacts as well.

Things keep getting worse for the western pacific Islands like tapain. Sinlaku is now a super typhoon 902mb and 150kts cat5 one of the strongest storms is April to ever form. Storms don't get much perfect looking then this.

Typoon sinlaku while awaiting official words im confident that the typhoon is a cat 4 and near or at super typhoon stauts. Current estimates 929mb and 125-130kts. The typhoon continues to cool the eye 29C and is very symmetrical with CDO axissymmetrite. And core -81C. At this point we can only hope this is the peak and or a EWEC happens to weaken the typhoon but no signs as that as the typoon is rapidly intensifying and moving towards a series of us western pacific territory islands.

New data from Dvorak technique and IR imagery supports typhoon sinlaku has a mb of 940 or lower and 120kts this would now make sinlaku a cat4 making a run at super typhoon stauts. The island ahead will be greatly impacted including guam rather direct or indirect.

Latest update via Dvorak technique. 5.6T 951mb 105kts. Typoon sinlaku now a cat3 and rapidly intensifying.

Afternoon update on typhoon sinlaku 95kt winds cat2 957mb the typhoon will become a super typhoon very soon. Sinlaku is going to go from gradually intensification to rapid intensification tonight the environmental factors are very conductive. As seen in the IR imagery very cold deep cloud tops of -80C dual rotation towers with stadium effect and a eye trying to clear out all points to rapid intensification about to begin.

Based on Dvorak technique typoon sinlaku is at T4.7- 85kts- 965mb. On the way to cat2 stauts and pretty clear sinlaku will become a super typhoon (cat3+) for guam all preparations need to be rushed to completion today.

Spiecalize weather forecast as I focus on the alantic basin ill be covering the western pacific rare for me to do. But typhoon sinlaku will bring impacts to guam a us terriotory. Interest in this region should prepare for a typhoon and super typhoon impacts. Currently the typhoon is a 75kt and 972 mb cat1.

Updated models showing windchill very low for fl my area ar 14F single digits up north

Models still showing possible snow on the coast and some Inland with the gulf effect. Possiblity is low but not zero. Its just a factor does the moisture mix with the cold before the dry air sets in. If it happens it'll only be 3rd time in history central fl gets mesaurable snow. Historic
