There seems to be some confusion as to whether today or yesterday was National Son’s Day. Isn’t everyday, minus Mother’s & Father’s Day, a kid’s day? 😜🤣
Nonetheless, I am happy to celebrate these two. 💙💙 I love your differences. You can thank your Dad for your good looks, charm & smarts. 🤴💪🏻📚 I’ll take credit for your sense of humor. 🥸 I enjoyed this trip down memory lane scrolling thru pics.
I love you two chuckleheads more than you will ever know. 🥰 Thanks for making our world so interesting. Keep striving to be the best version of you.

My birthday wish came true.

My nephrologist gave me the green light to stop taking my immunosuppressant! My kidney labs came back stable and/or continued improvement!!

Hot damn and hallelujah!

This is HUGE and the best birthday gift ever!! (Well, maybe second best. The #1 gift was giving birth to my first born 2 days b4 my 33rd bday! 💙)

2 days in and off to a great start. 51 is looking pretty good so far.

I go back in 3 months to make sure my labs are still on the up and up.
Lots of happy tears today.
I am going to keep doing what I have been doing. Consistency is everything and my hard work is finally paying off. Feeling pretty grateful.

Do you know what sparks your joy?
That is a serious question.
Do you know what truly makes you happy?
Not just the big things, even the little daily things that all add up & help you fill your bucket.
When is the last time you’ve really stopped to think about it? I do believe they change over time.
So, grab a cup of coffee or a nutritious smoothie & find a quiet place to sit & dig deep to make a list of what brings you joy.
Do as many as you can each day to keep that bucket full.
It took a near fatal illness and living with lupus for me to realize how important finding joy is. I don’t want you to have to wait for a traumatic event to start doing it. You only have one life so live it well!!

We were at baseball tonight so I prepped everything ahead of time, minus the chicken, to make life easier. I don’t like eating real late at night. I threw the chicken in the air fryer for 20 min when I got home. Super juicy. Just spray the racks with oil and lightly season to taste. I set out all the pre-prepped fixings while the chicken was cooking. I love a good salad bar!
