Memorial Day is a day we honor the brave men and women who lost their lives fighting for ours and defending freedom. Being a military child can be hard and I am speaking from experience. Most kids do not understand the magnitude of the sacrifice their mom or dad is making to serve this country. My dad served 24 years in the Navy and I wish I had something like this growing up. My dad is still with me today and I thank God for my very own hero.However, this would be a great resource for kids whose parent did not return home or is struggling with them being gone. Help them appreciate the sacrifices with these amazing books. Paste a picture of their hero in their book as a keepsake. The links to order these books are below.

My baby loves these books. Small enough for her to hold and handle all on her own, sturdy enough to withstand toddler handling, all while engaging them with the bright and vibrant illustrations with specially made pages to help foster fine motor skills via page turning. 🛍 📚
