💜 CARRIE’S LIGHT 💜
Today, we are honored to introduce the “Carrie’s Light”Purple Remembrance Bracelet.
The color purple has become a symbol of our community’s love, support, and remembrance. We lost Carrie in an unimaginable act of domestic violence.
With the blessing of Carrie’s children, our cousins ~ Piper, Ben, and Nicole—we are making these bracelets available through Blooming Arrangements as a meaningful way for our community to remember Carrie and carry her light forward.
Lovingly handcrafted by a local Connecticut artisan, these beautiful frosted purple beads catch and reflect light, creating a gentle glow that shines from within—symbolizing the light Carrie brought into the lives of everyone she met. As sunlight or indoor light touches the bracelet, the beads illuminate with vibrant shades of purple, offering a meaningful reminder that even in moments of darkness, love continues to shine.
What began as a bracelet of remembrance has grown into something even more meaningful.
Proceeds will help establish the “Carrie’s Light” Legacy Scholarships, honoring the passions and values that defined Carrie’s life:
💜 The “Carrie’s Light” Culinary Arts Scholarship�Awarded to a graduating student from Oliver Wolcott Technical High School pursuing a career in Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
💜 The “Carrie’s Light” Business Scholarship�Awarded to a graduating student from Gilbert High School continuing their education in Business, Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, Communications, or a related field, including studies at CT State Community College Northwestern or another institution.
Carrie had a gift for making people feel welcomed, loved, and valued. Through these scholarships, her kindness, generosity, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit will continue to impact future generations.
