Our focus is on promoting the high-quality work made by independent artists, providing a unique selection of gifts, home decor, crystals, and clean beauty products while offering a brick & mortar shopping experience that delights all

the senses. Our shop features the work of over 80 independent and fair trade artists, designers, and makers which includes jewelry, ceramics, art prints, screen printed goods, natural body care, framed art, hand-blown and stained glass, home decor, textile art, greeting cards, accessories and more. We pride ourselves in having one of the best selections of goods in SE Minnesota. We are continually adding new goods to our shop with new arrivals landing every week. We hope that whatever you purchase from us sparks joy in your everyday life.

I have been considering a lot over the last several months as I have watched the retail and small business landscape evolve along with my own needs and desires. What I have found rising to the top is a need for change.
When I first rented this space it was intended to be a place for me to practice my art, teach, and build community. Opening a store wasn't in the original plans but I felt it was right at the time. It's been nearly 7 years since I made that decision and I have no regrets. What was created was far more than a retail space. It was a place to share art, joy, connection, and a sense of place in our beautiful downtown.
While all of that is still at the heart of my business values, I know that I need to do something different with this space. As many of you know I am an artisan jeweler and I have been offering jewelry workshops over the last couple of years and occasionally in other mediums too. I'm feeling called even more in that direction. I see a need for enrichment and connection to one another and a desire tap into our creative selves. I'm also feeling called by my own need to create and this will give me more time to do that.
This means ORNO's brand will be coming to a close. A small curated selection of goods along with my jewelry offerings will shift to a smaller footprint in my studio and the store will become a space for more workshops, more participants, creative goods, and more events. The ORNO brand, including social media, and the website will be retired and everything will shift back to the Jovy Rockey Studio, on social media.
This decision wasn't easy and has taken me nearly a year to really articulate fully. Change is scary, but I feel it's time. My hope is that you continue to support this little business that I have put my heart and soul into.
We'll be having an Inventory Reduction Sale starting next weekend and soon after a Shop Garage Sale to pare down some fixtures, displays, and more. More details to come.
