FOR SALE: Bronc Riding Halter - Blank Canvas

I made one of these up as an extra last time I made one for a customer. This is a full latigo, double stitched bronc halter with stainless hardware. Nose band is not attached yet and ready for a brand or other decoration. Shipping included in price within continental U.S. First pic is example of finished product.

Used belt for sale. I made this belt several years ago and wore it a lot. Due to my wife’s amazing cooking and the fatherly need to eat whatever my kids don’t finish from Wendy’s, I’m on the last hole. I have since made a different belt so this one is available. Doubled and stitched with a smooth back side. Measures 36” from fold to middle hole. Would work best for a 32 or 34 inch (Wrangler Jeans) waist size using a pass through buckle. Will work up to a 36” waist with a trophy buckle. Would make a great work belt.

This saddle build took longer than it should have but I’m happy with the result. Very unique in every aspect. Lightweight but strong. Elegant but simple. Thanks to a very patient customer who challenged my artistic abilities with this project.

REINS FOR SALE - When it reins, it pours! Had an order last week, so I thought I’d just finish up the rest of what I had cut and offer these for sale. High quality Herman Oak Harness split reins in widths 5/8” (10 sets avail @ $40 each) & 1/2” (6 sets avail @ $35 ea). Lengths from 7’3” to 8’10”. All sets hand edged, rubbed and oiled. Cut from the same hide and paired together as they come off for consistent feel. Super strong indian tan water ties. These are light to medium weighted tips. Sorry, I’m all out of heavy weighted tips.

I don’t make many sets of chaps any more, but I couldn’t pass this order up. This is set #65. Russet oil tan body with turquoise trim. This shape and style has many names but is commonly known as the Arizona bell or Southwest batwing.

About 3 years ago I had the privilege to make some Christmas stockings for a wonderful young family with their first child. When I made them, I cut out an extra one and saved it, because I had a feeling they might have another child. Well that day came earlier this year when they were blessed with a beautiful little girl. I dug out the pieces from my scrap pile and finished it (just in time). Merry Christmas everyone! 🎅🏻🎄

There comes a time in every business/hobby to make a decision on whether to change paths, stop operating, take a leap forward or move in a different direction. Sometimes its a function of necessity, economy or personal reason. I’ve always thought I could do any and all things leather, and I still believe I can, but that doesn’t mean I should. With busy kids, a full time job, and trying to build and establish our property, I’ve found that there just aren’t enough hours in the day to get it all done and keep my sanity. From this point forward I will be focusing on saddles only and will no longer take outside orders for anything other than that. I may make an occasional exception for close friends or family, but if its not part of a saddle, it will not be a part of my regular business. I will do my best to keep my current commitments and fill those orders. Thanks to all my customers, friends and family.
