This was a Merry Christmas to myself!! I had originally got into the craft of leather because I wanted to create my very own handbag myself and for replacing my horse tack when needed! But I very seldom make time for my own projects but I was determined to get this one done. Warning this is a novel...read or just skip to this beauty down below! 😆

To say this creation is beyond special to me would be an understatement!! The boots on the front of this one was my son's most recent pair of boots he's outgrown. I have collected his cowboy 🤠 boots since the day he came home from the hospital in his first pair! And they all sit on a shelf on my wall in my living room and it's filling up!😊 But I thought it would be neat to use this pair for a project for myself!!

The light tan leather on the bag is very special and dear to my heart! It is from my late dads favorite chair he had had since I was probably in my early years high-school. He sat in that chair up until his last few months. To say he had worn that thing out would be an understatement!! It was well loved and to him broken in just right. After he past almost 4 yrs ago I was able to salvage what was left of the good leather and was able to incorporate it in into my bag. So happy I get to use it daily and hold it close to my heart!! ❤️

My grandma and I picked out this beautiful deep green leather on one of my trips back home!! We thought it would be the perfect backdrop!
I added some fringe to give it some extra pazza and some blood knots on the strap for extra detail. I added a purse tassel with a Aldi quarter cowboy boot holder and a mini chaps to hold my chapstick. And to pay a little more homage to my dad it's even holding his "go to" chapstick flavor! 😊 I'm also hoping to laser and special quote from dad on to the tassel also but my lasers acting up as we speak.
So....to most it just looks like a bag but to me it's irreplaceable!! And the best part is she's mine!!

She is definitely one of a kind!! This beauty was created for one of my beloved clients!! I've lost count on how many this project makes for her!! But who's counting! Lol

But she once again gave me free range, with only a few requirements. A little smaller size then usual, a closure of some sort and a long strap and I ran with it! And how it turned out was even a surprise to her until she opened it on Christmas as a gift from a family member!

This creation was a little mix of old and new. I took a few pieces from a vintage handbag that need some TLC and repurposed them into a new functional creation just for her to treasure and love and give a new life to. The last picture is what I started with!!
This one has such a timeless feel and fits my client to a tee!

Another fun project! A neck cowl with a little western/ Aztec / Southwest vibes!! I've been wanting one so I figured I would try my hand at it! Loved how it turned out and it's super warm, stylish, practical and cozy!!

Made with Himalaya Yak Wool on the outside layer with a all natural cotton batting in middle for an extra warmth and topped with a soft cozy layer against the skin!

Great to keep you warm whether out running errands on those cold winter days, riding your favorite trail, choring animals, attending sporting events and all related snow activities!!

I have several extra available and would be great gifts! Let me know if you need one!

Look at this stunner!!
This client gave me free range, just stated that she liked color and fringe and I ran with!! A custom boot purse but this one was created with a set of boots, one on each side! Topped with a matching purse tassel with a chapstick holder....literally.....mini chaps!! 🤣
