This summer has felt really special in ways I did not fully expect. 🤍

I have always joked that I do not exactly have a green thumb… honestly, I can barely keep a cactus alive. 😂

But this year I decided to try again with my little garden, and seeing things finally start to grow has felt like such a small but meaningful win.

It also brought back so many memories of being little, sitting on my dad’s porch in the summer with salt and pepper ready for freshly picked tomatoes. Moments that seemed so simple at the time, but now mean so much more looking back.

So in a way, growing this little garden has felt like a quiet reminder. A reminder that growth takes time, that starting again is okay, and that even the smallest things can reconnect us to people, memories, and parts of ourselves we thought we had lost.

That is such a huge part of what Sassy & Inspirational is about too. Slowing down enough to appreciate the little moments, honour your story, and celebrate the wins that might seem small to everyone else but mean everything to you. ✨

Not everything is meant to stay with you forever. Sometimes growth looks like changing your mindset, changing your environment, or realising you are no longer the same person you were a year ago. And that is not something to feel guilty for.

Outgrowing things does not make you difficult, selfish, or ungrateful. It means you are evolving. It means you are learning more about yourself and becoming more aligned with the life you actually want.

I am fully aware I do not exactly have a green thumb.😂

Last year’s little duck garden was not the biggest success, but this year I started earlier, gave it another go, and honestly, seeing those first cucumbers come through felt like such a win.

It might sound small to some people, but I think moments like this matter. We spend so much time focusing on what still needs doing that we forget to celebrate the little things that are actually going right.

Creating content still doesn’t come naturally to me, but I’m learning that growth happens when we do the things that make us uncomfortable. If you’re struggling too, keep showing up. One day it won’t feel so hard.

I almost did not post this video today. My hair was not done, my makeup was half finished, and honestly I had spent the whole day just trying to get through my to do list.

But then I realised, maybe someone else needs this reminder too.

You do not have to have everything perfectly together to still be doing a good job. You do not have to complete every single thing on your list for the day to count as productive. Sometimes getting through the important things is enough. Sometimes simply showing up is enough.

We are so quick to dismiss our small wins, but those little moments matter more than we realise. The email you finally sent. The task you were avoiding. The fact you kept going even when you felt overwhelmed. That all deserves to be acknowledged too.

In April, we had our very first European snail mail subscriber and honestly, seeing her lovely video made this all feel so real. 🤍

Watching someone on the other side of Europe open our inspirational snail mail, read through everything, and genuinely love it was such a special moment for me.
What started as a small idea to help women feel seen, inspired, and supported is now reaching people in completely different countries, and I do not think I will ever stop being grateful for that.
