A little late sharing this, but Earth Week at Jar meant getting outside and showing up for the places we call home 🌎
From trail cleanups with the South Portland Land Trust and Kittery Land Trust, to rolling up our sleeves behind both Windham stores, it was a week rooted in community, care, and taking responsibility for our own backyard. Every bag filled and every trail cleared is a small step that adds up.
As you’re enjoying your stash, here are a few easy ways to give your glass jars a second life:
• Storage for herbs, spices, or loose leaf tea
• A catch-all for matches, lighters, or small essentials
• Planters for small succulents or propagation
• Holders for paint brushes, pens, or tools
• A simple rinse + reuse goes a long way
It’s all connected. Taking care of what we use, where we go, and the spaces we share.
