There’s no question things feel a little tighter for everyone right now.
Gas, groceries, bills, life in general… we feel it too. And I know a lot of small businesses are having similar conversations behind the scenes right now.
But I also wanted to say this:
We’re still here.
And we really want to keep being here.
Not just as a store, but as a place you pop into on your way to camp. A place to grab a last-minute birthday gift, something for your porch, your lake house, your favorite hostess, or honestly just something that makes you smile after a hard week.
I know it’s easy to hit “buy now.” I do it too sometimes. Life gets busy.
But one thing I hope people know is that when you shop here, you’re getting more than a product off a shelf. You’re getting help finding the right gift. You’re supporting local makers. You’re supporting events, conversations, ideas, and the kind of small-town community spaces we all say we want to keep around.
And truthfully? I’d love to hear from you.
What would make you want to stop in more often?
What kinds of events, products, workshops, classes, maker nights, or community gatherings would you love to see here?
On the Docks has always been shaped by the people who walk through the door, and I’d love to keep building it that way 🤍
Thank you for continuing to support this little shop. It means more than you probably realize.
