I still remember so many kind compliments. Each and everyone built me up. Unfortunately, I remember many, many more "put downs" and mean criticisms. Those took too long to mend my spirit. Mind your words. I am one of the worst offenders, apologizing too much, but now I try to think before I speak. Better, but still a work in progress. This is why this touched me personally.
