Restock of Dunroven towels in the shop. We have a great selection of towels, perfect for applique, hand or machine embroidery, use for curtains or valances, or even make into an apron. Of course you can simply use them as they are to dry dishes. A good generous size of about 20 inches by 27 inches (hemmed on 4 sides with a hanging loop), so you can use them for small table toppers or clam bake size napkins. My Mom loved them so much, she would even cut them up and use them like fabric, like for a snowman's scarf or apron on a doll. Great quality and nice weight.

We have over 80 styles in the shop now. But, please visit our sister site, Quilter Studio, where we have even more towels, from a variety of companies, plus more. (See link in the comments section.) You can order from there and pick up in shop to avoid shipping costs.

Please note: I have been selling Dunroven tea towels for over 20 years and in all this time, I have raised the price only 50 cents. Due to manufacturer price hike, high tariffs and increased shipping costs, I will have to increase the price slightly, when the reorder arrives. I have absorbed the increased costs of fabric, thread and towels for over the past year, but I have to pass a share of the higher cost on. I really hate to do this, but hopefully, I have given you enough notice, so you can plan ahead for craft shows, gifts, church bazaars and such.

In honor of Memorial Day, I thought my customers might enjoy a peek at some of the Patriotic/Americana fabrics in the shop and on our website. I am very proud of the great selection we have including the popular "250America" collection. We have not 1, but 2, panels printed on canvas (a bit heavier than regular cotton) to make a tote bag. We also have panels for wall hangings, potholders and place mats. And prints galore: stars, flags, eagles, stripes, florals, of course, "Lady Liberty" and much more. Some quilters are making quilts or wall hangings with exactly 250 pieces in it, similar to the "Turn of the Century Quilts". (Remember the excitement of Y2K?) We have a nice selection of books, patterns and fat quarters as well. Don't you know a veteran who would like and deserves a pillow case or a simple pot holder to thank them for their service? Thought my customers would enjoy seeing one of the latest mini mysteries quilt. Many thanks to Kathy M. for sharing her work with fellow quilters. Great job. This was made from one of our curated bundles called Lighthouse. We still have a few remaining of this design and a few others. These are in the shop and on our website. (See comments section below for link.) The "clues" and video instructions are located in our private face book group for now. Pattern will be coming in the near future. Many thanks to all our wonderful customers who participate in both our Mega and Mini mysteries. I like hearing how much you enjoy them, how fun they are to make and to learn new techniques and seeing what others have made. They also enjoy the “Lara Langston, Quilt Detective” saga.
