Let’s be real—this project did NOT go according to plan. 🫠 The tension was off, the thread bunched, and I may have threatened to throw the machine out the window twice.
But then I realized: My 1-year-old won’t notice the crooked seams or the skipped stitches. She’ll just know her mama made it. ❤️
I’m learning that "perfect" isn’t the goal—doing it is. I learned three new ways not to do things today, so I’m calling that a win. We keep trying, we keep sewing, we keep growing! 🧵✨

Couldn’t budget for the $160 set that my son was asking for, so I picked this up on Facebook marketplace and added some ribbon and bows. Paid $50 and he doesn’t know the difference. Budgeting is hard but finding shortcuts to make them smile is key.
