May is filled with recognition weeks honoring those who dedicate their lives to serving others β€” Teacher Appreciation Week, National Nurses Week, National Police Week, National EMS Week, and Public Service Recognition Week.

In technical rescue, many professionals carry several of those roles at once. They are educators, medics, public servants, leaders, and rescuers β€” often all in the same day.

At Rescue Source, we have the privilege of supporting the people who respond when conditions are at their worst: swiftwater rescues, ice rescues, boat operations, rope rescues, and confined space rescues.

The equipment is only part of the equation. The real difference is made by the professionals behind it β€” the men and women willing to train harder, respond faster, and put themselves in difficult environments to protect others.

To all of the rescue professionals we serve: thank you for your commitment, courage, and dedication. We are proud to support the work you do every day.

Good news β€” slight loosening of the spring clips over time is completely normal and can usually be adjusted in seconds. In this quick maintenance video, we’ll show you how to:

βœ” Inspect your Reach before use
βœ” Adjust spring clip tension
βœ” Keep your device functioning properly in the field

A few simple checks can help ensure your Reach is mission-ready when it matters most.
