We are an independent bookstore, anchored in place and community. We are booksellers to the core, empowered by the writerly pulse coursing the country. Having visited countless bookstores, we imagined a haven for book lovers in concert with context: literary and natural. The Wilson Book Gallery is our version of Arcadia—an idyll actualized. As the only bookseller operating on the Westbank of the T

etons, en route to Teton Village and Grand Teton National Park, we align with our neighbors—all locally-owned small businesses, creative and courageous in their missions. As the sibling of the downtown Jackson Hole Book Trader, we foster print appreciation across the valley. And beyond: we approach books as points of connection, tracing local as well as global interests. Tables teem with noteworthy new releases, chosen not by bestseller recommendations but rather our intuition as readers. We pick every title with intention, eager for the opportunity to connect on timely topics. We support the perspectives writers boldly share with the world—a mission made possible by the support of our clientele. Together, we consider reading an essential exercise in this practice of life.

This is Cookie. She’s just wondering if you’re going to stop by the shop for Independent Bookstore Day tomorrow?

We’re going to have IBD exclusive merchandise, refreshments, and a raffle! And our warm weather 50% off sale cart will be making its first appearance of the season (even though it may be snowing 😂) and there are some amazing books on there, y’all! Bookseller Lizzie just finished helping to judge our regional Reading the West book awards for the middle grade/young reader category! 😅 The long list of nominees was full of wonderful stories either set in our region or by an author living in our region. If your 8 to 12 year old is looking for a new book about summer camp, haunted dolls, tween romance, octopi/octopuses (both are correct 🤓), female astronauts, middle school track, trying to fit in or starting your own country, we have some great recommendations!

It is low impact so easier on your joints and less miserable than running. Michael Easter, best selling author of The Comfort Crisis, can tell you all about it in his new book, Walking with Weight.

Typically, it is recommended that the weight be on your back via a weighted vest or backpack. But what about a cute and sturdy WBG tote bag filled with hefty tomes by authors such as Sarah J. Maas, Ron Chernow, Ken Follett or Aaron Sorkin? Sounds like a workout to me! 😅
