Wishing one of the greatest frontmen in rock and roll history a happy 78th birthday today. Every member of Led Zeppelin is in a class of their own, but those songs would not demand your attention the same way if Robert Plant were not singing them. He dropped out of school to pursue music, and when Jimmy Page invited him to join the Yardbirds, Plant accepted and recommended that his friend John Bonham should play drums. This band eventually became Led Zeppelin. There will never be another one like him, so I encourage you to rock out to some Zeppelin today and sing along with the birthday boy with us.

Next Friday, August 28, Billy Strings is set to release his 5th full-length LP, So Much for Goodbyes. We know we have a lot of Billy Strings fans here, so we’re stoked to be hosting an early listening party 2 days before! That’s right, on Wednesday 8/26 at 6PM we’ll be playing the album in full, with plenty of freebies to hand out from flower seed packets to posters to hats and more!

On Saturday August 29, he’ll be tearing it up at Live At Ted's | Listening Room Music Venue, but earlier in the day he’ll be hanging out with us at the Kerr location!
