What a storm we had! Not to often we have to take a day to open roads and fix lines to just pull taps. Luckily our farm just missed the line of travel from the tornado by 1.5 miles. Missed the store by a quarter mile. We sustained minor damage that we can see but enough to keep us busy repairing. Mostly roadways blocked. But every sugar maker would probably agree that with something that powerful ripping through, some big repair is lingering at the farthest point of the woods that hasn't been found yet! 🤣🤣

The 2026 season came to an end yesterday. What a year! No record breaking season but second best. Had some wild sap runs...

The 2026 season came to an end yesterday. What a year! No record breaking season but second best. Had some wild sap runs that kept us busy for days. Sap mostly ran at night vs the day which was strange. Over all we cant complain. After the long winter and now that the sap has gone bad we certainly welcome the warmer spring weather! Thank you to all who stopped by this year! Thank you to all who made the season possible Matt Couillard, Rodney Graham, and Rylan Asletine!
