Movement! So I’m close to securing a deal to lease 54toystore parking lot! Really easy to buy a backyard shed in future! Also possibly a shipping container if that’s your jam!

And we are securing a deal to start stocking up on 40 foot shipping containers for rent on site so folks we are growing! New containers not crusty old ones! Easy open doors and I plan to put lights In them for convenient use.

Of course I’m still holding my goal of being andovers most affordable place to store your outdoor equipment like RVs boats and other things like.

With a low rate of $50 per month how come your not here with us?

I’m working on a rate to allow over the road truck parking while drivers are in between loads. This is storage only no over night sleep overs allowed🫣

I’ve dropped 75 tons of new gravel to make property easier to move around in. New parking spots as well.

This is 2919 E. US 54. I started a business there two years ago called 54 Toy store. It is 12 acres. Half of which is not being used or even developed. I had a hearing last week with Butler County where I highlighted the blue the area that we’re using. I have no problem with paying taxes at commercial rates. My argument with them is that the area highlighted in purple is land that K dot and the state/county say I cannot use because they may want to build a highway on it some day. They don’t want to buy it from me, but they wanna tax me on it. They’re taxing me full commercial. Area highlighted in red is just dirt that we have not even touched other than just to clean up the weeds and keep it from being overrun by wildlife and such for future development. I’m being taxed at full commercial rates. It’s obvious that we don’t use the land for a commercial. But I’m still being charged a commercial rate.

My argument is that as a small business just starting out renting spots to people for boat, Rv and equipment storage I have no problem paying for the areas that we’re using. But I don’t stand a chance of staying in business if I have to continue to pay commercial rates on area that I’m not even using. We need ag tax rates where business doesn’t operate.

My goal is to put together a group of people upwards of 1000 so that we can go as a group in lobby the county. My goal is to create a voice big enough to get some of our local politicians to listen to our concerns.

Thank you to everybody, who have reached out to us. We created this storage place to bring affordable storage to Butler County. It has became increasingly difficult to continue this endeavor with the county coming in and just taking every bit of money we make.

Needless to say, I’ve had to change my plans.

My hope is that Butler County will reduce my taxes so that I have a chance as a small business to continue to grow and provide Butler County and Moore more importantly Andover area with affordable storage options. Please support the page and share it so that we can get this list of 1000+ people.
