This might just be the most important memory in The Fence N’ Post history.

Long before the fence yard, the gate shop, and the generations of customers we’ve been blessed to serve, there was Ray and Madge. Their love, hard work, faith, and commitment to each other laid the foundation for everything that came after.

What started as a marriage grew into a family, a business, and a legacy that has served Texoma since 1979.

Every fence we’ve supplied, every gate we’ve built, and every customer we’ve helped traces back to this moment right here.

We love a walk down memory lane!

Ray McKay started The Fence n’ Post in 1979 right after the tornado that shook Wichita Falls.

With a dream in his heart and a willingness to work hard, he built The FNP into what it is today. Sleepless nights, trial and error and family by his side - we are PROUD of what he built 💪🏻

So every opportunity we get, we share his story and continue the legacy he built for over 40 years.

He believed that good fences make good neighbors and we believe it too! 47 years later, we continue to help our customers build, restore and maintain their fences 🏡

May might be coming to an end but we’re going to keep the memories rolling!

May of 2020 was one for the books!

In the middle of uncertainty, shutdowns, and a world that seemed to change overnight, our yard was busier than ever. Families were investing in their homes, contractors were working hard, and fence projects were everywhere.

Looking back, it wasn’t just an amazing month for The Fence N' Post, it was a reminder of what happens when a community comes together and keeps moving forward.

We’re grateful for every customer, contractor, and family who trusted us during that time. Those months helped shape the business we are today, and we’re proud to still be serving Texoma!
