They say you can’t pour from an empty cup, and that’s definitely true in my life. It’s so important to make time for self-care and give yourself grace when feeling a little overwhelmed by life!

That’s why today, I want to tell you 3 ways I balance my work and family life & practice a little self care. Ready?

1️⃣Take a shower, put on PJs and let your kiddo eat popcorn in bed - while watching Frozen for the millionth time and give yourself grace to not get everything done on that todo list and just relax!

2️⃣Call that friend! You know, the one you’ve been meaning to call but it always seems like the wrong time? Call that friend and connect. Connecting with friends can be so good for the soul!

3️⃣Spend time in God’s word! This is something I have been trying to make a daily habit. It truly fills my cup and when you think about it - it’s the best form of self-care.

Practice these simple self-care tips and you’ll be on your way to filling your cup in no time.
