Today I am glad to introduce two new websites designed to introduce the books and articles I have been writing, and to provide FREE downloads of supporting documents for further studies and discussion. The www.KieselGuhrPublications.com (KGP) website is the "imprint" I use in the publishing world which links visitors to the www.EnjoyingMyInheritance.com (EMI) site where the supporting articles can be downloaded and printed. All is part of my history, experiences and lessons learned and then tested to prove the eternal truths that lead to the fullest enjoyment of life.

“27 Seconds” and a Relationship

My current variation of this prayer each morning has expanded a bit in certain parts to express to our Father God the truths I am seeing and experiencing from the Bible. This is an expanded amplified version of the prayer Jesus taught His disciples (Matthew 6).

Good morning, My Father God who lives in heaven, Holy is Your name. Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, early in the morning, and through the day and into the night, my songs and prayers and praise shall rise to you. Holy, holy, holy, You are merciful and mighty in judgment, and mighty in deliverance to those who call upon You for your salvation and your help. You are God in three persons, blessed Trinity.

I pray that Your kingdom will come to this world just as you have promised.

What a glorious time of history that will be when Your Son the Lord Jesus Christ comes to His long-promised throne of David in the city of Jerusalem and begins to rule and reign over all of the nations in righteousness and peace for 1000 years.

What a change of administration that will cause in each of the nations around the globe as the world watches and learns that Jesus Christ is indeed King over all kings and Lord over all lords as You, Father God gather all the nations of the world into battle array against Israel and Jerusalem, in their intent to wipe it out of existence, because of their hate for your chosen people and their hate and rejection of You as God, all right on Your schedule of the Battle of Armageddon and your promised terrible judgment of the nations. It is then, the world will see the return of Jesus Christ for his pre-announced Second Coming, this time returning as the Lion of Judah, when the world will see Jesus Christ, the Messiah easily and quickly defeat and destroy all the military forces of all the nations, in just a few hours, before taking His seat in Jerusalem to rule and reign as King over all the nations for 1,000 years. The world will then participate in beating the no longer needed swords and equipment of war into plow shears and agricultural harvesting equipment.

Father God, we can hardly wait to see this all develop and take place before our very own eyes! Until you do come, I am glad to declare you are my King today, ready to change my decisions and adjust my schedule to come into full alignment with your purposes in my life and your purposes for my part of the world today.

I pray that Your will would be done on earth today in the same way Your will is being done now in heaven.

I pray that Your will be done billions of times today, all around the world, by the exercise of Your great power, by the continuing work of Your Holy Spirit who is convicting the world of 8 billion people of sin, of righteousness, and of Judgment to come, and by Your special work through the glad and willing and courageous service of tens of millions of Your children You have called Your “friends.” Help me to see and do Your will today.

I ask today for Your provision of my daily food, thanking you for Your faithfulness day after day, year after year in providing for my basic needs. I thank You for the health You have given me, and for Your healing touch. I am most grateful for the spiritual food you have provided and ask for Your Holy Spirit to bring to mind Your truths, Your laws and commandments; the grace You have provided which is the life and righteousness of Jesus Christ experienced in person; Your great and precious promises and Your provisions for each one; and Your judgments and testimonies through the Scriptures and through the ages, everything I need for encouragement and for instruction today.

I thank you most of all for Your salvation so rich and free, which you offer continuously to every person in the world to believe and receive it as their very own gift of Your love for them. Your salvation, which is Your forgiveness of sin and your promise of everlasting life, your promise to raise Your children from the grave to live with you forever. You have made this available by Your arrangement for the only acceptable payment of the eternal death penalty for sin, which death penalty we all owed but which we could not pay, which you paid in full for all the sins of the world, by the suffering and death of Jesus Christ on the cross, who died in my place. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I thank You for making your gift of salvation available to me and to every person in the world who would believe and receive this gift as the ultimate gift of life and love from You.

Father, forgive me of my new and recent sins as I forgive those who have sinned against me, who have sinned against You and against your church, being prepared to forgive them by the same mercy and the same grace You offered to me, as any would come to acknowledge their sins and ask me for my forgiveness. Thank you for preparing my heart and mind for those opportunities.

For those who have sinned and are continuing to sin against me, who will not acknowledge their sins, help me today to pardon them, releasing them from my court of being judge/jury/executioner, forwarding their case to Your Court of judgment, for Your promised revenge, Your reproofs, the disciplines and even the calamities You would use to even yet, while they are still alive, bring them to turn to You for their redemption. Free me to pity their lost condition, to pray for their salvation and their being made new and whole. Teach me to learn how to actually love my enemies.

Thanks so much for not leading us into temptation, but rather You are faithful to not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able, but with each temptation from the world, each temptation from the Devil, and the temptations of my own flesh, You always provide a way of escape, 10, 20, 30 times a day, so that I can endure and live victoriously in this diabolical world system.

I pray today for your protection from evil and from the Evil One and from all of those who are associated with doing evil. I am most grateful.

Thank you, Father God, for teaching us to come to You with our needs and requests with confidence and with expectation of receiving Your help, your protection, your deliverance and your wisdom, because you are my Father God, and Yours is the Kingdom, and Yours is all the power and all the glory forever and ever.

Thank you for hearing my prayer today.

One of the most influential books in my life is THE REIGN OF THE SERVANT KINGS, A Study of Eternal Security and the Final Significance of Man, by Jody C. Dillow. Reading Chapter 24 is worth the price of the book, all by itself. There it presents the detail of what believers will be involved in during the 1,000 year reign of Jesus Christ on this earth. This book is clearly a deep study of the Scripture texts that describe the foundation for why a believer is secure in their salvation, in their faith in Jesus Christ, for now and for all of eternity. This may be the very best and most clear book about the differences between Calvinism and Armenianism and the simple reading of the original first century Greek text of the Bible. I buy books because I mark them up so heavily! You may want to consider that problem, though you may want to first borrow or loan this book from the local library. I traveled to meet with Jody Dillow on two occasions to thank him for this book and enjoyed my visits with him very much.

I would like to recommend a book for you to purchase or request to loan through your local library. It may be a hard one to find. MISSION IMPROBABLE, by Richard Rosenthal, David Philip Publishers, ISBN 0-086486-390-X. Mr. Rosenthal is a school tax regulations attorney in Capetown, South Africa. He and his wife decided to flee South Africa during the increasing violence and pending civil war between the black population and the Botha government enforcing apartheid which was a legalized racial segregation from 1948 to 1994. Because they loved the country so very much, he decided on a plan to suspend his business and secretly attempt negotiations between the exiled ANC black leadership and the Botha government leadership to attempt to bring both sides to a peaceful settlement and a change of the national constitution. This book reads like an adventure story, all based on his own accounts and the documentation of his every step. His efforts, as one man, led to the end of apartheid in South Africa. I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Rosenthal at his office where we spent a number of hours recounting this incredible history and outcome. You will enjoy it very much.

I would like to recommend a book for you to purchase or request to loan through your local library. FAITH OF OUR FATHERS, by Chan Kei Thong. He uses China government archived documents to describe the amazing history of the worship of Jesus Christ in China over the past 4000 years, including worship by several Emperors. The book includes powerful examples of the ancient Chinese language having the goods news of the gospel built into its written characters. Published by Campus Crusade Asia. I have had the privilege of getting to know Mr. Thong over the years and know you will be greatly encouraged to read through this wonderful history he has researched and published.

Does God hear my prayers? (12 Men and a Vacation)
My friend Steve has provided a Bible discussion meeting every Wednesday night for the last 10 years or so to a group of 12 men that are residents of a house created to assist men who want to end their reliance upon alcohol and end the resulting homelessness. Some of the men might believe there is a God, others don’t know, and some are quite sure that there is no actual God in the Universe. Last year on one Wednesday night Steve asked the men if they had ever been on vacation. Many simply cited living under a bridge for 10 or 20 years as their camping experience! When he asked them if they would be interested in going on vacation with him, they all agreed to a 4 day weekend at a lake house in Arkansas with boating, swimming, grilling and kicking back for a few days away from the city.

On the drive down, one of the men (Bob) in the truck cab with Steve made a reference to their Bible readings and discussions and asked “Does God actually hear our prayers? Could I ask God for something and see if God hears me and if He will answer me?” Steve asked Bob what he might want to ask for. Bob was quick to say, “I do not know where any of my family lives or how to contact them. I have not seen or heard from my brother in 20 years. I would like to ask God to help me find my brother.” Steve confirmed that was a good prayer with a good motive and God would hear His prayer. With no hesitation Bob blurted out, “God if you can hear my prayer, I would like your help in finding my brother. Amen.”

This unlikely group of vacationers drove on to the lake, unpacked and began an eventful and memorable vacation. On the second day, after pulling truck tire inner tubes and dumping these men into the lake with sharp turns behind a speed boat, they loaded Bob on the tube for his turn. Pulling away from the shore at 3 mph, Bob fell out of the tube! Steve pulled around and encouraged him to jump back into the tube. Bob called out that he could not, being in some way injured in his fall out of the tube. Steve jumped in and pulled him back to shore, realizing Bob had snapped his femur bone and now was in great pain and in need of help. EMS arrived and transported him to a Harrison, Arkansas hospital.

That evening the group drove into Harrison for supper and to visit their friend Bob at the hospital. The hospital staff explained they had no doctors qualified to do surgery on such a complex injury and had sent him by ambulance to a hospital in Springfield, MO to have the leg surgery done there. Because of the great distance, Steve and the remaining men planned to go by Springfield on Sunday afternoon on their way back to the city.

When they arrived on Sunday at the hospital in Springfield, MO, Steve went in to ask what room Bob was in. The staff explained the hospital was full and that Bob was not in a room. The staff had asked Bob if he would prefer staying in a hospital bed in a waiting room or if he would be willing to be taken to the furnace room of the hospital in the basement? (With this oddity of room choices, at this point, you are encouraged to begin keeping track of what specific acts of God were required for God to answer Bob’s simple prayer).

Bob, being accustomed to homelessness and liking his privacy, chose the furnace room. The hospital staff went on to explain that in 3 days Bob had not yet had his leg surgery. Of the two doctors qualified to do such a leg surgery, one was on vacation and the second was fully scheduled with other surgeries. Bob had been given pain medicine and asked to wait for the first available time to start his surgery.

When Steve found the furnace room, he found Bob awake and sitting up in his hospital bed, in his private room known as the furnace room. Steve asked Bob how he was feeling. Bob exclaimed, “I am doing great!” Realizing he might be doing just fine with a full schedule of pain medicine, Steve asked him why he seemed so happy. Bob explained, “You just missed my brother, he just left about an hour ago.” Steve initially imagined Bob was getting too much pain medicine and was hallucinating with a memory of his prayer on the trip down to start their vacation. When quizzed further, Bob explained that his brother had been there for several hours and they had a wonderful time of reunion, catching up and making things right again between them. Bob explained that his brother lived in St. Louis, MO and worked for an electrical contractor. His brother had been driving on I-55 to Chicago a day earlier to work on an electrical project there for his company, when he received a phone call from the owner of the electrical service company instructing him to turn around. The boss explained that he needed Bob’s brother to go to an emergency job at a hospital in Springfield, MO. The brother countered saying he could not do that job because he was not licensed in MO to do electrical work. The boss explained that the first crew on the way to the job had been in a traffic accident and were themselves injured and had been transported to a different hospital. The boss demanded the brother turn around and drive to Springfield and that he would work out the license and regulatory situation with the State of MO licensing.
The brother drove to the hospital in Springfield, MO and was ushered into the furnace room in the basement to begin the needed electrical repair, where he came face to face with his long lost brother lying in a hospital bed with a broken leg.
Do you believe God is alive and hears our humble prayers? Bob does. And now his 11 buds at the house they share also believe. If that all is a stretch for you, would you be willing to calculate the statistical chances of timing and events and sequences that occurred this past Summer for our friend Bob? Let me know, if you would, what the chances are of that all taking place by simple happenstance.
Question: Did you start your list of what God did to arrange an answer to Bob’s prayer? Here is my own list…
1. God found a believer willing to study and discuss the truths and good news of the Bible with men in need.
2. God found a believer glad to give good gifts and be kind to his “neighbors.”

3. A broken leg.
4. First regional hospital with no doctors available for such a complex broken leg.
5. Decision by the first hospital to move Bob to a specific hospital in Springfield, MO 70 miles away in another state.
6. Second hospital was full with no rooms available.
7. Choice by the patient to be placed in an unlikely waiting room, the furnace room of the hospital.
8. Delay of surgeon to schedule the leg repair for 3 days because of a shortage of doctors.
9. Urgent electrical problem at the Springfield hospital (who caused the timing of that problem?)
10. Traffic accident of the first electrical services crew on their way to the hospital to do the job, they each needing medical care themselves.
11. Selection of Bob’s brother by the Missouri based electrical services company to do the job instead of the first crew sent.
12. Any acts of God I might have missed in this account that you noticed?
Do you believe God wants to demonstrate for us that He cares and that He loves to answer our prayers when they are in line with His will and purposes?

I ask today for Your provision of my daily food, thanking you for Your faithfulness day after day, year after year in providing for my basic needs. I thank You for the health You have given me, and for Your healing touch; I am most grateful for the spiritual food you have provided and ask for Your Holy Spirit to bring to mind Your truths, your grace, your promises and provisions, and your testimonies I will need for encouragement and for instruction today.

I thank you most of all for Your salvation so rich and free, which you continuously offer to every person in the world, your salvation which is your forgiveness of sin and your promise of everlasting life, your promise to raise Your children from the grave to live with you forever. You have made all this available by Your arrangement for the only acceptable payment of the death penalty for sin, which death penalty we all owed but which we could not pay, which you paid in full for all the sins of the world, by the suffering and death of Jesus Christ on the cross who died in my place. I thank You for making your gift of salvation available to me and to every person in the world who would believe and receive this gift as the ultimate gift of life and love from You. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Father, forgive me of my new and recent sins as I forgive those who have sinned against me, against You, against your church, being prepared to forgive them by the same mercy and the same grace You offered to me, as any would come to acknowledge their sins and ask for my forgiveness.

For those who have sinned and are continuing to sin against me, who will not acknowledge their sins, help me today to pardon them, releasing them from my court of being judge/jury/executioner, forwarding their case to Your Court of judgment, for Your promised revenge, Your reproofs, the disciplines and even the calamities You would use to even yet, while they are still alive, bring them to turn to You for their redemption. Free me to pity their lost condition, to pray for their salvation and their being made new and whole. Teach me to learn how to actually love my enemies.

Thanks so much for not leading us into temptation, but rather You are faithful to not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able, but with each temptation you always provide a way of escape, 10, 20, 30 times a day, so that I can endure and live victoriously in this diabolical world system.

I pray today for your protection from evil and from the Evil One and from all of those who are associated with doing evil. I am most grateful.

Thank you Father God for teaching us to come to You with our needs and requests with confidence and with expectation , because you are my Father God, and Yours is the Kingdom, and Yours is all the power and all the glory forever and ever.
