📚 An Exciting New Chapter for Two Businesses 📚

After years of serving readers, collectors, and our community through Elsewhere Book Sales, we're excited to announce a new chapter.

The retail bookstore is now becoming Once Upon a Shelf under new ownership. While continuing to offer affordable, quality used books, the store will be focusing on creating an even more welcoming and enjoyable experience for customers through improved organization, refreshed aesthetics, expanded inventory, community events, and new opportunities for readers of all ages to connect over a shared love of books.

Meanwhile, Elsewhere Book Sales is increasing its focus on estate services, large collections, auctions, and special book sale events.

From a few books to full estates, Elsewhere Book Sales continues to specialize in finding value, creating opportunity, and helping quality items find new homes.

With more capacity to focus on large collections and estate services, we're excited about what comes next—more books, more collections, more opportunities, and more stories worth telling along the way.

We're grateful for everyone who has supported us over the years and look forward to seeing both businesses continue to grow and serve East Texas in their own unique ways.

A few more books arrived today! 📚

About half of the vintage and antique
books had already been shelved before we managed to take pictures, but there are still plenty of new arrivals to browse.

This batch includes a little bit of everything—fiction, non-fiction, children's books, local history, and several vintage and antique titles. Whether you're looking for your next great novel, researching East Texas history, building a child's library, or hunting for unique older books, there's a good chance you'll find something that catches your eye.

New books are hitting the shelves regularly, so every visit is a little different. Stop by and see what's new before your favorite title finds a new home.
