Funny cards, clever gifts & unexpected finds for birthdays, bad days, big wins and questionable friends. Shop with us on-line! If anything, we’ve leveled up.

The Ruddy Duck (formerly Meriwether) is your favorite purveyor of sarcastic wit and questionable charm. We may have changed our name, but we haven’t lost the snarky spirit that made Meriwether a local legend. Expect the same hilarious, offbeat gifts and cards you love, plus a whole new flock of local artisan goods, handcrafted treasures, and delightfully inappropriate finds. We're still the shop that says what you're thinking on the inside—but now with cuter handwriting.

Emotionally, it should already be Friday.

Until then: coffee and some aggressively reassuring words.

Find your daily pep talk at theruddyduck.com or stop by our Whitefish shop.

A quick PSA before you come over 😂

Super thick, debossed genuine leather coasters for the host… who’s already asked nicely.

Find yours at The Ruddy Duck in downtown Whitefish, MT or online.

Our new sign is up! Now you know exactly where to find the good stuff. 🤌🏼

If you remember this downtown Whitefish gift shop as Meriwether, welcome back. Barb is still the owner, and about a year ago, we gave the shop a new name and a sweeter side: The Ruddy Duck.

Inside, you’ll find gifts you’ll actually want to give, cards you’ll read out loud, and plenty of “wait, you have to see this” moments. We’ve been making the shop more fun to explore, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next.

Consider this your sign to come on in and see what we’ve been up to. Or visit us online at www.theruddyduck.com

A pack a day keeps the double bogeys away. Probably.

10 golf tees packed like a cigarette box because apparently golf needed one more bad habit.

Perfect for your favorite golfer, golf buddy, dad, husband, or anyone who says “quick 9” and disappears for four hours.

Shop them at The Ruddy Duck in downtown Whitefish or online at theruddyduck.com.
