300 BLACKOUT?
My Custom PBR Action, at it again!
10 Minutes ago it was 6 Dasher. A quick change of the Bolt Head, Barrel & Magazine and now it's 300 Blackout.
I recently Casted these 230gr Projectiles, for some Super Silent Fun! This is a lot quieter than 300Blk Subsonics you can buy. You see those are running slow powders to function Semi-Autos. By loading Specifically for Boltgun Subsonic, I can use different Primers, and some Pistol Powders, to achieve much quieter performance than you can buy!
Caliber Conversions I've done for these Actions include: 6Dasher, 308win, 6.5Creed, 338 Lapua (as single shot, left Port Feed) 284, 6.5×284, 300 Blk.

Not sure what I'll be Chambering for this Action next, possibly a Straightwall Dangerous Game cartridge?

-Chamber, Rough Reamed, then Finish Reamed with Live Floating Pilots
-Tennon Cut & Threaded 20TPI Directly to Receiver for Best of Fit.

Accuracy is Consistency.
Consistency is removing Tolerances, variables.

This is a Custom Heavy Duty Action, and probably would've shot just fine, but my Clients dont want fine.
3 Thousandths out of perfectly square Receiver Face, 2 Thousandths out on Lug Seats, 4 Thousandths on Bolt Lugs, another couple Thousandth on the Bolt face, all add up and differently round to round.

Here's a couple pictures to show some progression through the Trueing Process. I have Machined & removed All Tolerances, we now have a Bank Vault lock up and this Shooter will have that confidence!

On January 13, 2023, the Attorney General signed ATF final rule 2021R-08F, “Factoring Criteria for Fi****ms with Attached ‘Stabilizing Braces,’” amending ATF’s regulations to clarify when a rifle is designed, made, and intended to be fired from the shoulder.

Wind Target!
I'm putting together a Wind Target, for The AlderBrook Range! Ever Wonder where that first shot went? Spotters got nothing? Well now you'll know, even if shooting alone!

These are 12" Plates with a 10" Center Plate going out at 700yds. There is about 2MILS either way from the Bullseye for Accurate Wind Call
Refinements. There are many ways this Target can be used but I am especially happy for those out shooting alone. Observing the wind, and collecting Data, just got a whole lot easier...
