Mr. Robert F. Palmer, Sr.(center) with his son, on the right, & grandson on the left. Columbia Sales Inc. Is the Only manufacturer of 'Tip Boards' in the United States. Since the mid 1920's, our family business has produced 'Tip Boards' in our Wheeling, WV location, which is now proudly located in the friendly neighborhood of Warwood. Mr. Palmer's immigration to the United States is quite the story. Overcoming several obstacles, he secured his degree in Applied Electrical Engineering at the tender young age of 20 in 1926. He designed, fabricated and patented his automatic folding & banding machine. The rest is history. Today, We Stand Tall on the shoulders of our brother, father and grandfather.

At the end of WWII, Robert F. Palmer, Sr., decided to secure a U.S. patent for his design, fabrication & operating ticket machine. His machines are still in production today, since he opened his doors in 1939. We stand today as the Country's Only Manufacturer of Tip Boards.
