More clues about the history of our ice cream sign..... Anderson ice cream Co. Was founded in St Charles Illinois in 1907, so this is an extremely early local piece. Think I'll contact the family that still owns it after all these years and see what they can tell me about this signs actual age!!!!!

( Rair Flare Restorations®)So I've finally gotten around to starting the restoration of this early double sided "Colonial Ice Cream" sign probably from the 1920's era. Some four letter word painted over it at some point in its history sadly I'll have to repaint it and hand stencil the lettering to bring it back to life again, oh well as I always say it's a labor of love.
