A new shipment of felt means I have a busy afternoon of cutting ahead! All of this will eventually be turned into snap link chains. They are currently missing from my Etsy shop due to a large number of orders (🎉 but 😅). I’ll let you in on a little secret though… you can still get them on Spouse-ly right now. Hopefully I’ll have them back up everywhere early next week if I can get caught up on sewing this weekend. The handmade holiday season is on!

I ended up taking the last week of July off for a short break, but I couldn’t help myself but work on new projects- it just fills up my creative bucket! I’m mentally refreshed and back open now with these new felt snap link chains for countdowns, fine motor skills practice, and so many fun open ended play possibilities. My daughter’s personal favorite is stacking them on her arm like bracelets!

Happy March! ☘️ Things are really “chugging” along in 2024 so far. I’m taking full advantage of the slower season and working on bunches of new projects behind the scenes. This newest train game was inspired by my littlest dude, who loves nothing more than destroying the train tracks his older siblings set up for him. 😂

The military matching game is here! This one has been on my brain for a good long while and I’m happy to finally get it up in the Spouse-ly shop! My little brood of Army brats love spotting all things military transportation. When we PCSed to the Chicago suburbs, I was a wee bit sad they wouldn’t get their tank and helicopter fixes, but ironically enough, we live just down the street from an awesome military history museum and tank park, so we can visit whenever we like. They still miss hearing those Chinooks flying overhead though!

The stars have aligned and I’m enjoying color mat prep with some sunlight today! It may seem like a small thing to be grateful for, but I so rarely have any time during the day to work. I do 95% of my creating after my kids go to bed at night!

During the day, I homeschool 3 kiddos and try to keep the newly-one year old from getting into *too* much trouble. Mondays are nice because my biggest boys are off having an adventure with their homeschool group and I’m left with a kindergartener and a baby who conveniently today decided not to fight me on taking a nap. What is your small win for today?

Cue the confetti… 🎉 Our Abundant Feast is 3 years old today! It’s been a wild ride and a joy creating activities and gifts for your little ones over the past few years. This business has been with me in 3 different states courtesy of the Army (TX➡️NC➡️IL) and has helped me not totally lose “me” through the ups and downs of this crazy but blessed life. So, thank you for your support of my humble little one-woman business! I know more great things are just around the corner.
