2023 Trout Tournament

Navajo Technical University invites you to participate in our “1st Annual Navajo Technical University – Athletics Trout Tournament 2023”, scheduled for August 5th, 2023, at 6 AM at Tsaile Lake, AZ. Proceeds of the Navajo Technical University – Athletics Trout Tournament event and raffle are to benefit college student-athletes scholarships and to help support our Native American students.

Participants will need a current Navajo Nation fishing license as the event is OPEN to everyone. There will be prizes for adults 18 years & up and youth 5 - 17 years old. Catch the biggest fish and win big!

Navajo Technical University believes that a good program of athletic activities can provide valuable opportunities for developing physical fitness and overall character and leadership qualities. The athletic program seeks to enhance our student-athletes through education and competition to stimulate a lasting positive attitude of discipline, dedication, sportsmanship, integrity, and leadership.

ICE STORM POWER OUTAGE
Wheatfields Area
Friday, December 10, 2021 – 6:40 pm

Please be advised that NTUA electric line crews continue working to restore power in the Wheatfields area. The NTUA Chinle electric line crew has been working all day to remove ice from the powerlines and replacing damaged equipment. Additional crews have been dispatched to assist.

Power has been restored to north and south of the chapter house. Crews are concentrating on the area north and east of Wheatfield Lake. Crews will continue working until power is restored.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!! We received confirmation that ASAAYI LAKE AND WHEATFIELD LAKE ARE CLOSED!!! However, Tsaile and Berlin lake are open. Wheatfield Lakeside Store is CLOSED we will remain closed throughout the pandemic. Please be safe and be careful. We received this information through N.N Fish and Wildlife.
