Happy Easter!

We had a beautiful day on Saturday for final event of the 25/26 Winter Trail out of White City. This Championship Tournament was well attended and the big fish were caught!

A big congratulations to the big winners, Tony Taylor and Ken Taylor with 23.14 lbs!! Great job guys and a well deserved win! Tony and Ken also had big fish for the tournament with a 6.84 lb lunker. $$$$

As I pass on the director duties to Jamey Bunkley, I want to thank him for his willingness to serve in this position. I know he will do a fantastic job! I also want to thank all of the anglers who so faithfully participated the past several years. I really appreciate all the positive attitudes and support! It was a pleasure serving the Winter Trail tradition! Thank y’all!!

🎣🎣Looking forward to seeing all our qualified anglers at the DLPTS Winter Trail Championship this Saturday (4/4/2026) out of the White City Ramp. 🎣🎣. As a reminder:

- Entry fees for the Championship are $150 + $20 Big Fish (100% payback)

- Boat numbers will correspond with your points ranking after the March Tournament (attached)

- Championship tournament finishing points will count toward the Angler of the Year

- Please arrive a little early. There will be an important group meeting at 5:45 a.m. near the weigh stage

Here are the points totals after the final qualifying tournament for the 25/26 DLPTS Winter Trail. This will also be your boat number for the championship on April 4, 2026. Any ties will be ordered by the highest individual tournament score during the year.

The Teams in the green highlighted area are qualified to fish the Championship Tournament. The teams in the yellow highlighted area can backpay one tournament ($100) and fish the Championship. Any back paid entries will go into the pot for the Championship Tournament. If you plan to backpay, please let me know asap.

Remember, everyone voted to include the Championship into the final points tally for Anglers of the Year. The prize for this honor is free entries into the 26/27 qualifiers and boat #1 in those qualifiers.

The DLPTS Winter Trail was blessed with a beautiful day for our 6th and final qualifier of the 25/26 season. We had another great turnout and fun was had by all. As always, the best anglers on the river showed out with some fantastic bags of fish! Congratulations to the winners!

The DLPTS Winter Trail had a good turnout for the 5th tournament of the 25/26 season. The anglers launched out of White City Landing and caught nice some nice fish.

We look forward to seeing everyone this Saturday, February 7th for the 5th qualifier of the year on the DLPTS Winter Trail. We will be launching out of the White City Ramp. It looks like we might have a good weather day 🙏.

I have attached a screenshot of the accumulated points going into this event. It is a close race at the top! Remember, you must have fished 4 tournaments to qualify for the April Championship Tournament. If you only have 3 tournaments after the March event, you can backpay 1 event to qualify. Any backpay will be added to the championship pot.

The DLPTS Winter Trail had a good turnout for the 4th qualifier of the season. The anglers withstood the rain showers to catch some of the biggest bags of the season. We had 4 teams bring over 20 lbs to the scales. Congratulations to the winners!
